BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

Our objective is to advance genealogical research and education by teaching, aiding and encouraging members. Belonging to a society such as ours, you will find fellowship in members helping each other and sociability unmatched.  We welcome everyone with an interest in genealogy to join us.

Our monthly newsletter, the HEIRLOOM, is one of the most important benefits of membership in the Society. Monthly meeting and program information; special announcements; notice of special meetings of other societies, both local and national; and articles covering all aspects of genealogy are included in each issue. The HEIRLOOM is published September through May and is sent by e-mail to our members.

The Society meets the second Friday of each month, October through May, in Moss Hall at Moorings Presbyterian Church, 791 Harbour Drive,  at 1:00 p.m.  Meetings are open to the public and members are encouraged to bring guests.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES

Membership year is from January 1 to December 31. If you join after October 1st, your dues will extend through the end of the following year.

New member individual: $25* dues upon joining
New family membership (2 people) at same address: $30* upon joining
*Included is a one time $5.00 processing fee when you join.

Renewal individual: $20.00
Renewal family membership: $25.00
