BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
One of our objectives is to advance genealogical research and education by teaching, aiding and encouraging members. Belonging to a society such as ours, you will find fellowship in members helping each other and sociability unmatched.
Our monthly newsletter, the HEIRLOOM , is one of the most important benefits of membership in the Society. Monthly meeting and program information; special announcements; notice of special meetings of other societies, both local and national; and articles covering all aspects of genealogy are included in each issue. The HEIRLOOM is published September through May and is mailed to members.
The Society meets the second Tuesday of each month in Moss Hall at the Moorings Presbyterian Church, 791 Harbour Drive, at 7:30 P.M. Meetings are open to the public and members are encouraged to bring guests.
At each meeting we offer a browse table, which contains materials contributed by our members or received from other societies; these materials may be kept.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES
Membership year is from January 1 to December 31
New member dues are pro-rated in the quarter which they join.
New member book and processing is a one time fee of $5.00.
Annual dues are $20.00 for an individual.
$25.00 for joint membership at same address.
